Little City

little city there upon

the carpet green and

stained. think upon an

earlier time when passion

seemed thriving among the

insects crawling in and

out with open hustle.

little city now forgotten,

and abandoned reeking decay

and no more the

tiny bustle and crowded

commotions. only empty silence

amid ruin and rain.

little city cry no

more for those gone.

they went to some

other little city where

there the bustle is

both strong and common.

little city, go to

sleep; sleep and dream

in little city heaven.

I enjoy solo wargaming and writing. The first caters to the boy that never grew up; the latter satisfies a deep desire to communicate. Cheers.
