Trickle

Usually it’s the quiet

ones who do the

most damage because everyone

else is either distracted

or dismissive that someone

so mild or insignificant

could even action such

a dramatic and often

fatal flaw. Usually. More

and more though,

with almost monotonic drear,

these days, it’s the

ones who come along

banging their drum and

laughing as they do

it who enjoy the

limelight. Alongside their media

agents, the ones profiting

from their act. You

cannot fault them though;

just look at the

crowd, the ravening herd,

demanding their fill with

their open fiery lust.

Though something seems lost,

it all scripts well

and the tallow writer

nods and approves while

carefully watering the garden.

I enjoy solo wargaming and writing. The first caters to the boy that never grew up; the latter satisfies a deep desire to communicate. Cheers.
