Cauliflower

It used to be

home cooking for me.

Mum’s curried vegetable stew

was a favourite of

mine. The fact she

added meat only heightened

my delight in eating

her fare, bowl after

bowl. But my favourite

of all time, only once

did she cook it,

was her cauliflower stew

that I thought was

the best ever tasted.

And it still remains

so many decades later.

I enjoy solo wargaming and writing. The first caters to the boy that never grew up; the latter satisfies a deep desire to communicate. Cheers.
