West Coast hymn

Sky and sea smile.
wave washing,
soft kisses.
Moistened parched soul.
Sea breezes,
brushed skin,
warmed bright affection.
Daily affliction;
always gifted,
even on grim-grey days.

I enjoy solo wargaming and writing. The first caters to the boy that never grew up; the latter satisfies a deep desire to communicate. Cheers.

  1. Fond memories of homeland’s wild wet coast, south island. Magic on wet blustery days: biting winds and sea spray, furious waves and foam, dark dull days that make you yearn for warm fire-logged indoors. But makes you want to howl at Nature’s passion unleashed. Screamed a few times on such days. Loved it then. Would love it even more these days if presented such a chance once more.
