Exercise 120705

Every clamour clambers upon

the one before, seeking

open sky. And with

each reach endeavour dies

but is forgotten under

under the relentless drive

that youth engenders; new

replace old, worn and the

broken make way or

are shoved aside. And

the drone drowns out

the many voices singing

the same old song.

A glimmering false dawn

soon wanes as the

burning returns, and the

murmuring rises swept up

on golden halogen wings.

I enjoy solo wargaming and writing. The first caters to the boy that never grew up; the latter satisfies a deep desire to communicate. Cheers.
