Exercise 290704

When walking in fog

so thick that you

can’t see your own

hand in front of

you if you must

proceed make sure you

tie yourself off both

fore and aft. And

tread most carefully, preferably

with a long stout

staff prodding your next

step. You may not

get far but at

least it will detract

you from your situation,

bizarre and bleak as

it is. Make sure

the rope is sturdy

and true, clean and

light, and of good

length — enough to cope

with your group, even

the scared ones. And

carry a spare length

too, just in case.

I enjoy solo wargaming and writing. The first caters to the boy that never grew up; the latter satisfies a deep desire to communicate. Cheers.
